A commitment to music and culture
In 2025, on the initiative of her family and a group of friends, theMirella Freni E.T.S. Association was founded to remember the Modenese soprano, a figure of artistic reference in Italy and the world, and to pass on the human, ethical and cultural values of which she was an example.

Music as a tool for inclusion and cultural promotion
In pursuit of this purpose, the association aims to:
Music for all
To promote and foster the culture and study of music in every social sphere, as a universal language capable of overcoming barriers or differences, with particular attention to future generations and fragile individuals.
Mirella Freni Archive
To organise and manage the Mirella Freni archive, increasing its historical-artistic documentary reconstruction value and usability.
Italian opera singing
To disseminate the tradition of Italian opera singing (Intangible Heritage of Humanity) so that it is not dispersed, but becomes a source of knowledge for the community and the promotion of Italian culture in the world.
Support for young artists
To promote and support the study and further training of young artists in music and the arts.
Institutional Activities
Carry out any activity that is appropriate or supportive to the pursuit of the institutional purposes.
External Collaborations
Cooperate with other organisations, other public or private bodies, working with social aims similar to or related to its own.
Dissemination in schools
Collaborate with schools of all levels and with universities to spread the importance of the association’s main aims.
